Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Key Holder to join our retail team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of daily store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers while supporting the management team. As a Key Holder, you'll take on leadership responsibilities, oversee sales activities, and maintain store standards with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
- Open and close the store confidently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
- Assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and reconcile registers at shift end with precision
- Supervise daily store operations including inventory management, stocking, merchandising, and pricing strategies
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing potential new team members and onboarding processes
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming environment
- Oversee team members’ schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure smooth shift execution
Experience
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in retail or a related field
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and team management
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for effective communication with diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and retail math
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with training & development initiatives and leadership roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor
