Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional climate control solutions across various properties. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, or industrial properties.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment including boilers, refrigeration units, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliances to ensure proper operation.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as condensate drain lines or refrigerant piping.
- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication.
- Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment including field service operations and appliance repairs.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with hands-on mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Service technician experience in troubleshooting complex HVAC/R units with an emphasis on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design principles for effective diagnostics and repairs.
- Experience working with plumbing components related to climate control systems.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Mechanical experience involving boiler operation or welding is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license suitable for field service operations; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
