Role Summary
Godfrey & Wing is hiring an Electrician I to join our team in Aurora, Ohio. This entry- level role is suited for individuals with hands-on electrical experience who can work independently or on more complex wiring and panel builds. The Electrician I will contribute to building and testing custom equipment used in advanced manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:

With limited support, assemble and wire electrical panels, control systems, and equipment according to engineering drawings and schematics

Install wiring, conduit, and related hardware efficiently and neatly

Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting of electrical systems and circuits

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other assemblers to ensure project quality and on-time completion

Assist in identifying design or process improvements to enhance build efficiency and reliability

Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Qualifications:

Previous experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or panel building (industrial equipment preferred)

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Familiarity with safe electrical work practices, including LOTO and NEC standards

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment

Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and quality focus

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electrical systems is preferred

Ability to safely use forklift and scissors lift
