GL Power Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office/Service Administrator to support the daily operations of our Hurst, Texas branch. This position is responsible for coordinating office administration, service operations, work orders, accounting support, inventory procurement, customer service, and billing activities.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organizational and communication skills, and enjoys working with both customers and internal teams to ensure efficient branch operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative operations of the branch office.
- Process customer work orders from creation through completion and invoicing.
- Enter customer orders and process parts requests using the company ERP/software system.
- Maintain accurate records for work orders, inventory, billing, and office documentation.
- Support purchasing and inventory procurement activities.
- Perform bookkeeping and accounting support functions, including billing and reporting.
- Generate reports to assist management with service and operational performance.
- Review clerical and operational records for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain filing systems and office documentation.
- Order office supplies and coordinate general office needs.
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve office workflow and administrative efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service while supporting service technicians and sales personnel.
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative, office management, service administration, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
- Experience working in a service, manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment is preferred.
- Experience with ERP or business management software is highly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
