Our industry-leading company specializing in the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of high-purity water systems for commercial and industrial applications looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial activities and transactions for our location near Burlington, North Carolina. This role will oversee all accounting and financial activities, including invoicing, pricing analysis, profitability tracking, financial reporting, and customer contract management/renewals. The position will also support KPI and operational metric reporting, analyze financial performance and variances, and work closely with customers and service operations teams to help improve overall business performance and profitability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of experience in service or manufacturing accounting
- 5+ years in financial management and analysis
- 3+ years of experience with lead contract management
- 2+ years of experience working with customer maintenance contracts
- 2+ years of experience working with Key Performance Indicators
- 2+ years of experience with customer service
- Must be able to work on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial activities and transactions.
- Manage invoicing, pricing, and profitability analysis for contracts, service projects, and sales orders.
- Conduct audits of Customer Maintenance Contracts and ensure renewal pricing alignment.
- Oversee collections, financial tracking, and reporting, explaining variances.
- Collaborate on inventory reconciliation and process optimization.
- Streamline financial processes, collaborate cross-functionally.
- Lead Contract Management and reconciliation of quoted to actual hours worked for Service Techs
- Deliver presentations and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and critical metrics.
