The Endodontic Billing Specialist manages the complete revenue cycle for our root-canal-focused specialty practice. This role requires precise expertise in dental insurance billing, CDT coding (specifically D3000–D3999), claim submission, denial resolution, and patient account management. The ideal candidate ensures accurate revenue recovery while maintaining excellent communication with patients and insurance payers.
Responsibilities
- Verify the patient's information to ensure billing and patient records are correct.
- Confirm patient coverage, policy limits, and pre-authorizations before treatment.
- Anticipate patient needs or concerns and address them in advance (including other team members and/or management, if needed)
- Translate endodontic treatments like root canals, apicoectomies, and retreatments into exact CDT codes
- Post insurance checks, patient payments, and ACH deposits accurately to patient accounts.
- Explain specialized treatment costs, insurance breakdowns, and payment plans to patients clearly and empathetically.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
