We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and sales-driven Bilingual Retail Sales & Social Media Specialist to help grow our cell phone repair and used-device store.
This is not a traditional cashier position where you simply wait for customers to walk in.
We are looking for someone who enjoys talking to people, selling, creating social media content, and actively generating business. You will help customers with phone purchases, repairs, trade-ins, and accessories while also promoting the store through Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other local marketing channels.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. A large portion of our customers are Spanish-speaking, so you must be comfortable communicating, selling, and assisting customers in both languages.
You must also be comfortable appearing on camera and creating promotional videos for the business.
Phone repair experience is not required. We can teach you about devices, repairs, grading, and pricing. We are primarily looking for the right personality, sales ability, communication skills, and work ethic.
What You'll DoCustomer Sales & Service
- Assist customers in both English and Spanish
- Sell used iPhones, Samsung phones, accessories, and other devices
- Explain repair options and provide repair quotes
- Help customers compare repairing their existing phone versus upgrading
- Offer trade-ins and phone-buying options
- Recommend cases, screen protectors, chargers, and other accessories
- Assist with basic services such as phone setup and data transfers
- Follow up with customers who received quotes but did not immediately purchase or repair
- Answer incoming calls, messages, and online inquiries quickly and professionally
Social Media & Local Marketing
- Be comfortable appearing and speaking on camera
- Create short promotional videos featuring phones, repairs, special offers, new inventory, and store services
- Post content on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
- Help develop content in both Spanish and English
- Photograph newly available phones and products
- Promote special offers and store services
- Help increase the store's local visibility and customer traffic
Store Operations
- Maintain clean and professional phone displays
- Keep product pricing and labels current
- Track customer leads and sales activity
- Ask satisfied customers to share their experience on Google
- Help identify products and services customers are requesting
- Work toward individual and store sales goals
Requirements
Required:
- Fluent conversational Spanish and English
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable selling and recommending products
- Comfortable being on camera and appearing in promotional/social media videos
- Comfortable using Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Marketplace
- Friendly, energetic, confident personality
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to learn smartphone models, features, pricing, and repair terminology
- Comfortable following up with customers by phone or message
- Able to work independently without needing constant supervision
Preferred but not required:
- Previous retail sales experience
- Cell phone or wireless industry experience
- Electronics sales experience
- Social media/content creation experience
- Experience with Facebook Marketplace
- Experience selling to both English- and Spanish-speaking customers
- Knowledge of iPhone and Samsung Galaxy devices
Phone repair experience is NOT required.

Compensation
Starting base pay: $15.00/hour + commission and performance bonuses
In addition to hourly pay, employees can earn additional compensation based on:
- Used phone sales
- Repair sales
- Accessory sales
- Qualified phone purchases/trade-ins
- Monthly store performance
Strong performers will have the opportunity to earn significantly more than the base hourly rate as sales grow.
Schedule
Full-time position with retail hours.
Specific schedule will be discussed during the interview.

We are expanding the Bardstown Road location and are looking for someone who wants to play an important role in growing the store—not simply work behind the counter.
