Overview
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), where you will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, and personalized medication management to residents in assisted living. Duties
- Safely administer prescribed medications to residents following established protocols and physician orders
- Document all medication activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Record vital signs, patient responses, and any adverse reactions during medication administration
- Collaborate with nursing staff to update medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Provide compassionate care tailored to individuals with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia patients
- Support residents’ overall well-being through attentive caregiving, including assisting with activities of daily living and mobility
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Medication Technician
- Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and nursing practices related to medication administration and patient care
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and sensitive medical records

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
