Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commercial Lines - Account Manager to join our team at Morris Insurance Agency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience with our products and services. The successful candidate will be proficient in data entry and have a keen ability to analyze customer needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to contact for your assigned commercial clients—handling policy updates, renewals, quoting, payments, and documentation.
- Answer client questions, support claims, and resolve service issues with speed and accuracy.
- Partner with producers to onboard new clients: assess needs, gather data, present quotes, and secure coverage.
- Schedule and support account reviews to ensure clients have the right protection for their evolving needs.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, process changes, and correct discrepancies.
- Keep thorough records of client communications and activity in our agency management system.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service operations.
- Utilize office software and tools to manage customer interactions efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial Lines account manager is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze situations and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our service reach to diverse customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Experience
- Commercial Lines: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification
- Property and Casualty Insurance License (AL) (Preferred)
