Operate a de-icing truck equipped with a salt spreader to treat parking lots and other surfaces as needed.

Apply de-icing materials according to weather conditions and specific jobsite requirements.

Inspect and maintain the truck and equipment before and after each shift to ensure proper functioning.

Follow assigned routes and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.

Load and unload de-icing materials, ensuring even and effective distribution.

Communicate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate service and respond to changing conditions.

Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and maintenance activities.

Perform minor truck repairs and promptly report any mechanical issues.

Comply with weight and loading regulations for safe operation.

Be available after snow events to provide salting services as needed.

Experience operating trucks or similar vehicles, preferably with salt spreader equipment.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and safe driving practices.
