Southside is a community-centered cafe and coffee bar in Napa Valley. There are currently three locations in Napa Valley. The cafes serve a chef-driven menu of real California cuisine with a Latin influence. All locations are open for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and to-go items.
We are currently hiring PART TIME/FULL TIME line cook.
Aspiring applicants must be available Weekends (other days to be discussed) and must be able to work as early as 6:30 am and as late as 3:30 pm.
Applicants must have the following:
Friendly, outgoing attitude
Highly motivated
Dependable.
Experience in high-volume restaurants
Flexible to work days, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities include:
Accurately set up and stock line with prepared ingredients and supplies in order to complete daily service quickly and efficiently.
At the end of service, break down, reset and clean the station as required for kitchen closing duties.
Consistently execute all Southside menu items and specials according to demonstrated standards
Demonstrate mastery of flavor profiles for Southside menu items
Adapt menu items to meet customer dietary and allergen restrictions.
Assist with prep and production in commissary kitchen upon request
Providing support with catering
Ensure compliance with all health and safety codes and policies. Models best hygiene and sanitation practices aimed at providing quality food services
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
