We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan, including cleaning filters, inspecting mechanical components, and calibrating controls.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems repair issues using hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions by interpreting schematics and technical manuals; identify issues related to electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, plumbing connections, and mechanical components.
- Conduct comprehensive equipment troubleshooting to resolve system failures promptly while minimizing downtime for clients.
- Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs; communicate findings clearly with clients and team members.
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and maintaining certifications; support HVAC system installation projects from start to finish.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems repair, maintenance, and installation in commercial or residential environments.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding building integration processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems combined with electrical diagnostics expertise.
- Familiarity with schematics, building automation systems, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and boiler operation is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters; ability to troubleshoot equipment efficiently using diagnostic tools.
- Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients about system issues and solutions; commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicle safely on job sites.
- Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional training in HVAC design or advanced electrical diagnostics is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
