Extrusion Machine Operator

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 12-hour shifts
Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

TriCab Inc. is a cable manufacturer located in Worcester, MA. We are looking for qualified cable production workers to join our manufacturing team.
The Extrusion Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, controlling, and monitoring machines that produce insulated copper cabling. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to follow established safety and production procedures.
What You Can Bring to Us:
- Set up and operate wire/cable extrusion machines to manufacture insulated cable products
- Control and monitor machines that produce copper cabling
- Follow process sheets, manufacturing specifications, and established work instructions
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet production standards
- Troubleshoot basic manufacturing process issues while supporting production schedules and customer deadlines
- Observe all safety procedures and use equipment and materials properly
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Work productively with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Use basic hand tools as needed
- Demonstrate a strong belief in producing a quality product
- Bring a great attitude and willingness to learn
- Maintain strong attention to detail
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of extrusion machine operating experience
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
