Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with hands-on experience in tire service and maintenance. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles by providing high-quality tire installation, and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Assist with oil changes and other basic automotive services as needed.
- Inspect tires for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacements when necessary.
- Ensure that all work areas are clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Knowledge of tire service procedures, including installation, balancing, and alignment techniques.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes alongside tire services.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
