Assembly Technician – Precision Couplings

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble high-precision industrial couplings used in demanding motion control and power transmission applications. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications.
Previous assembly experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to complete assembly of coupling products.
- Install fasteners, inserts, and/or other components using hand and power tools.
- Apply label to product in a neat and consistent manner.
- Verify dimensions using calipers, plug gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Identify and report quality issues or process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
- Use bonding equipment to assemble bellows style couplings.
- Assist with manual handling of heavy or bulky items using proper techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
