Montana Building Maintenance, Inc. is looking for a dependable, experienced cleaner to join our evening crew.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly, completely, and consistently. This position is a good fit for someone who notices details, follows work orders, takes care of company equipment, and can be counted on to show up when scheduled.
What We Need
- Reliable attendance and punctuality. Our evening work begins at a set time, and arriving on time is essential.
- Attention to detail. Follow the work order and building instructions rather than deciding what can be skipped.
- Quality work. Thoroughly clean assigned areas, including the less-obvious areas that are easy to overlook.
- Equipment care. Properly use, clean, maintain, and store company equipment. Report damage or problems promptly rather than leaving us to discover them later.
- Communication. If something breaks, runs out, can't be completed, or isn't working as expected, tell us. Problems are much easier to solve when we know about them.
- Accountability. Complete assigned work and document work or problems when requested.
- Independence. You should be able to work without someone following behind you to make sure the job was completed.
- Physical ability. This is active work involving standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing equipment, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks.
What You'll Do
Depending on the assigned accounts, duties may include:
- Operating floor-care equipment - machine scrubbing and buffing VCT floors
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Emptying trash and replacing liners
- Cleaning offices, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
- Completing routine equipment care and reporting maintenance issues
- Following account-specific instructions and customer requirements
- Completing required work documentation
The Person We're Looking For
You don't have to be perfect. You do need to be dependable, responsible, and willing to do the job the way it is supposed to be done.
We value employees who:
- Show up when they say they will
- Do what they were asked to do
- Notice when something needs attention
- Take care of the equipment they are trusted with
- Speak up when there is a problem
- Don't cut corners just because no one is watching
- Understand that the quality of our work reflects on the entire company
Janitorial experience and floor-care experience are a plus, but reliability and work ethic matter most.
Schedule
Evening work, Monday through Friday. Start times vary by account, with most employees beginning around 5:30 PM.
If you are looking for a job where you can work independently, take pride in your work, and be part of a company that values people who can be counted on, we'd like to hear from you.
