Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Air Conditioner Installer to install, replace, and maintain residential air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate has experience with HVAC installation, follows safety regulations, provides excellent customer service, and works efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential air conditioning systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and related HVAC equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications.
- Measure, cut, and connect ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical wiring.
- Test installed systems to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and compliance with local building codes.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect job sites and prepare work areas for installation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a clean and safe condition.
- Explain system operation and maintenance procedures to customers.
- Complete work orders, installation reports, and required documentation accurately.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience installing HVAC or air conditioning systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and HVAC components.
- Ability to read technical manuals and installation diagrams.
- EPA Section 608 Certification preferred or required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces, attics, rooftops, and varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment.
- Climb ladders, kneel, bend, crouch, and work overhead.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Safely use power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment.

Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour
