Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Experience in sushi, Japanese cuisine, or upscale dining strongly preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to execute recipes and plating with consistency and attention to detail
- Comfortable working multiple stations including fry, sauté, grill, or sushi bar
- Knife skills and seafood handling experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred
- Passion for hospitality, quality food, and continuous learning
