Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments with precision
- Stock shelves, organize storage areas, and ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks
- Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities during order fulfillment and inventory management
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading trucks, unloading deliveries, and preparing goods for shipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace to promote safety standards and operational efficiency
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as AS400 or MRPs is advantageous
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is highly desirable; certification is a plus
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and stock management techniques
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations related to order picking & packing
