- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Support meal assembly during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Help with menu planning ideas based on ingredient availability and seasonal offerings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service.
Skills
- Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements.
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including knife skills and culinary techniques.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience, especially in fine dining or catering settings.
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and sanitation standards.
