In-Home Caregiver (Full-Time & Part-Time)

We're hiring a few compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers to provide quality care for an older female client living in Grosse Pointe Park who requires assistance with most of her activities of daily living. The client utilizes a wheelchair and hoyer lift so proper experience is required.

- Sun 6a-3p (9 hours) & 3p-11p (8 hours)
- Mon 6a-3p (9 hours)
- Tues 6a-3p (9 hours)
- Wed 6a-5p (11 hours)
- Thurs 6a-5p (11 hours)
- Fri 6a-3p (9 hours)
- Sat 6a-3p (9 hours) & 3p-11p (8 hours)

Job Responsibilities
- Assist client with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Empty catheter bag as needed throughout the day
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands
- Observe and report changes in clients' health or behavior
- Help clients maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old
- Must have hoyer lift experience
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance preferred
- Able to pass a background check
- Previous caregiving or home health aide experience preferred
- Experience with mobility assistance and personal care
- Comfortable working with medical equipment
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
