Flour Fusion LLC is hiring dependable and detail-oriented Frosting Machine Operators for both first and second shifts. This is a hands-on food production position for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing consistently finished, high-quality bakery products.
You will operate frosting equipment, monitor product weights and appearance, keep the production line supplied, and ensure products meet established quality and food-safety standards.
Schedule and Pay
- $17.25–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, non-exempt position
- First shift starts at 4:00 a.m.
- Second shift starts at 2:00 p.m.
- Weekend availability is required
- Regular overtime is available
- Additional scheduling flexibility may be required during peak production periods
Applicants must be available to work the shift for which they are hired.
What You’ll Do
- Operate the frosting machine used to apply frosting to cakes.
- Load trays of cakes or muffins into the machine infeed.
- Position trays correctly for consistent frosting application.
- Monitor cake weights and frosting deposit amounts.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain the correct frosting weight.
- Inspect finished products for quality, weight, and appearance.
- Keep the frosting hopper adequately filled throughout production.
- Transfer frosting into the hopper using a pump system or by hand when necessary.
- Assemble, inspect, operate, and disassemble frosting equipment.
- Apply finishing toppings according to product specifications.
- Load trays onto bakery racks and move racks between production areas.
- Maintain enough racks and trays to prevent production delays.
- Assist with equipment cleaning and reassembly.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food-production procedures.

- Previous food production, bakery, manufacturing, or machine-operation experience is preferred but not required
Food Safety and Workplace Expectations
Employees must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, sanitation procedures, and company food-safety requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Wearing all required personal protective equipment
- Wearing hair nets, beard nets when applicable, gloves, and disposable protective clothing
- Washing hands and changing gloves as required
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area
- Following the company’s SQF Food Safety Program
- Wearing steel-toe safety shoes in designated production areas
Physical Requirements
This is an active production position. Employees must be able to:
- Stand and work for extended periods
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Regularly lift, handle, and position trays weighing approximately 15 pounds
- Scoop and transfer frosting into production equipment
- Push, pull, and maneuver loaded bakery racks throughout the shift
- Safely handle bakery racks that may weigh up to approximately 525 pounds when fully loaded
