As Streamline Wireline expands its OSP construction operations in Montana, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the execution of a large-scale underground OSP construction project in Ravalli County, just south of Missoula.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for field operations, subcontractor performance, production, quality, safety, and overall construction execution. The Construction Manager will work closely with company leadership and will be supported by a Field Supervisor responsible for day-to-day oversight of subcontractor crews.
Montana is a new and growing market for Streamline, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable building structure and processes while keeping field execution moving as the operation scales.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day construction execution for the Montana OSP project.
- Lead the Field Supervisor and coordinate subcontractor operations across the project.
- Manage production, scheduling, priorities, and construction sequencing to ensure project targets and milestones are met.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and accountability, ensuring crews meet project scope, specifications, client requirements, quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
- Review and validate field production, completed quantities, documentation, and reporting.
- Work with the Field Supervisor to resolve field issues, utility conflicts, restoration concerns, deficiencies, and punch-list items.
- Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, locators, client representatives, county/local officials, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain visibility into manpower, equipment, subcontractor capacity, and resource needs, proactively addressing risks and constraints that could impact production or schedule.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, company policies, project specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain clear communication with Streamline leadership regarding project performance, schedule, risks, and operational needs.
- Help establish and improve field processes and operating structure as Streamline continues building and scaling its Montana operation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction management or field leadership experience in OSP telecommunications, underground utilities, or related infrastructure construction.
- Strong experience with underground construction, directional boring/HDD, and OSP fiber infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and field crews simultaneously, including Field Supervisors, Foremen, Inspectors, or similar field leaders.
- Strong understanding of construction prints, specifications, production tracking, QC, safety, and field documentation.
- Ability to manage construction from planning and mobilization through execution and completion.
- Experience coordinating with clients, inspectors, engineers, municipalities/county officials, and other external stakeholders.
- Previous experience leading OSP construction operations for major MSO/telecommunications clients is strongly preferred. Experience working directly with Charter Communications is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-moving field environment.
- Comfortable joining a new market where processes and operations will continue developing as the project scales.
- Valid Driver’s License and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
