POSITION TITLE: Custodian Mechanic (12 Months)
REPORTING TO: Director of Facilities/Assistant Director of Facilities
HOURS: Flexible 8.0 hour day, starting between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. (Sunday - Thursday)
START DATE: ASAP
SALARY & BENEFITS: $42,928.00 per Schedule J of CSEA Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES: Occasionally performs a variety of semi-skilled building repair and maintenance tasks. The work of this position is predominantly spent maintaining safe and clean exteriors to our buildings. This includes, but is not limited to field preparations for Interscholastic athletics, painting, snow removal, and custodial support.
Job Qualifications
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Good knowledge of modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices; knowledge of the practices and techniques of one or more of the standard trades; mechanical aptitude; industry; good physical condition; dependability; manual dexterity. Two years of experience in either general building maintenance or building trades work in one or more of the standard trades, such as, carpentry, plumbing, electrical; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
