Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food orders using POS systems such as ChowBus POS ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items including specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Process cash transactions and credit card payments accurately, including sales transaction processing and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold food safety standard.
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or Chinese cuisine background
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as ChowBus POS; experience with POS systems is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude; ability to build rapport quickly
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
