About This Role
A caring and dependable Floater Teacher is sought after by A Child's Place, a private non-profit NAEYC accredited Child Care Center, to care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, strong communication skills, and team teaching experience. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, benefits, and a rotating schedule of 40 hours a week. We require at least 1 year of teaching experience and a CDA or higher in ECE. Our Child Care Center serves as a second home to our children and families, and we seek someone who can create a safe, healthy, and fun environment that promotes their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. What You'll Do
The ideal candidate for this Floater Teacher position at A Child's Place will be responsible for:
Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters children's growth and development.
Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team teaching environment.
Maintaining open and regular communication with families and co-teachers to ensure seamless transitions and a high level of care.
Fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity within the classroom and throughout the Child Care Center.
Requirements

CDA or higher

Knowledge of the CTELDS and DOTS

Ability to work in a team teaching environment.
- At least 1 year experience working with toddlers
