We are looking for a Receptionist/ Service Dept. Assistant on a part time basis. Hours will be between 32-40 hours per week depending on need. Schedule will be Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am to 5 pm.
Job Duties:
- Answering phones and routing calls, assist customers with writing up service calls or answering general account questions.
- Assist walk in customers.
- Handle service work order scheduling with customer and service team technicians.
- Obtain electrical permits as needed for work orders. Follow through with inspections.
- Gather information on advertising and donation requests and present to owner.
- Taking payments for cash sales and/ or on account via cash, check and credit card
- Proofing and typing documents such as letters, proposals to send to customers and contractors.
- Filing, both paper and digital.
- Maintain office supply stock and order when items are running low as well as special requests from other staff.
- Light data entry as needed to assist Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Payroll.
- Clean office/ breakroom/ restrooms on a weekly basis.
- This person must be prompt, presentable and have a friendly attitude as they will be the “face” of our company that customers see and hear. Attire is office casual.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Must be proficient with MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Ability to operate multi-line phone system and general office equipment.
