Driver’s License: Level 1 – Driver’s License is Required.
Rate of Pay: DOQ
Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License issued in the US is required.
Master’s degree with major in healthcare administration or health information management or related field with 5 years of experience in revenue cycle OR a bachelor’s degree with major in healthcare administration or health information management with 7 years of experience in revenue cycle required.
Minimum of
3 years of supervisory or management experience.
Professional Credentials such as RHIA, RHIT, CHRI, CSS, CPC are required.
Strong working knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, A/R, denial management, payers, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with EHR, practice management, and claims systems required.
Strong communication, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently but within an established leadership structure.
Prior experience working with Indian Health Services (IHS) or Tribal Organizations is preferred.
Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, databases and/or data entry, Spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook is required.
Knowledge of Native American communities, culture, customs, and beliefs is preferred.
Experience working with Native Americans clients, communities and is able to demonstrate cultural sensitivity is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.
Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.
Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.
