American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, Impella and balloon pump proficiency, and an active MO or compact RN license for a 13-week night shift contract.

Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting at a community hospital
-
Nurses may float between the ICU and Telemetry units
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required, with flexibility for those who prefer more weekend shifts
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred; ability to quickly learn is required if not experienced
-
Block scheduling may be considered, particularly over weekends, at manager's discretion
-
Active RN license in Missouri (MO) or a compact state, currently in hand
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center

Prior travel nursing experience required

Experience with Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) required

Experience with stroke care and STEMI care required

SSN, DOB, and valid driver's license (DL) required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Navy blue scrubs required

First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they have at least 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 center
