Position Summary
Longman Jakuback, APLC is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Legal / Executive Personal Assistant to provide direct support to the firm’s Partners. This is a fast-paced, high-trust position that requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives under pressure, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and understands the importance of confidentiality when working with attorneys and high-profile clients.
Responsibilities
Executive & Personal Support
-Manage and maintain the Partners’ daily and long-term calendars.
- Prepare detailed daily itineraries, schedules, and briefing materials.
-Coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
-Schedule travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, and transportation as needed.
-Order and coordinate daily lunches.
-Schedule wardrobe fittings and alterations for court appearances and professional events.
-Coordinate dry cleaning services, including drop-off and pick-up.
-Track important deadlines, court-related commitments, and personal appointments.
- Run occasional executive errands as needed.
-Anticipate the Partners’ needs and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Draft professional correspondence, letters, and emails.
- Prepare meeting agendas and maintain meeting notes when requested.
-Assist with special projects and firm initiatives.
-Maintain confidential records and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL)
- Provide administrative support for the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL).
-Coordinate board meetings, committee meetings, and member communications.
- Assist with event planning, CLE programs, and annual conferences.
- Maintain membership records and correspondence.
- Prepare meeting materials and distribute agendas.
- Respond to member inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Assist with other administrative duties supporting the organization.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of executive assistant, legal assistant, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience supporting executives, attorneys, or senior leadership is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
