A Fortune 50 Financial Institution is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their team. This engineer will help build and enhance enterprise-scale web applications, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver modern, accessible, and scalable user experiences.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using Angular 17+ and modern web technologies

Building reusable UI components, libraries, and enterprise design system standards to promote consistency and scalability

Collaborating with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences and integrate REST APIs
-
Driving front-end architecture decisions, conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and promoting engineering best practices

Supporting CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps while optimizing application performance, accessibility, testing, and production support
Qualifications:

7+ years of front-end software engineering experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Expert-level experience with Angular 17+

Strong proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS

Experience developing enterprise-scale Single Page Applications (SPAs)

Experience integrating REST APIs and working with Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Experience implementing WCAG accessibility standards and responsive web design

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Ability to mentor junior engineers and work effectively in Agile teams
Desired Skills:

Experience with NX Monorepo architecture

Experience with Storybook or similar component documentation tools

Experience with Bootstrap, ng-Bootstrap, or similar UI frameworks

Experience supporting digital banking or financial services applications

Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools

Experience contributing to platform modernization initiatives
