JOB SUMMARY
At Midwest Connect, Route Drivers are responsible for the accurate and timely pickup, transportation, delivery, and documentation of customer mail, parcels, and related materials. Route Drivers serve as the face of Midwest Connect and play a critical role in maintaining customer trust through exceptional service, accountability, and professionalism. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
Route Operations
- Completing all assigned route stops and pickups as scheduled.
- Collecting, transporting, and delivering customer mail, parcels, packages, and confidential materials.
- Verifying the accuracy of pickups and deliveries before leaving customer locations.
Barcode Scan Sheet Compliance
- Confirming that all customer mail pickups contain the required barcode scan sheet.
- Verifying scan sheets are properly completed before accepting mail.
Route Manager & Technology
- Utilizing Route Manager and all company technology as required.
- Recording all pickups, deliveries, exceptions, and route completion activities.
Customer Service
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Representing Midwest Connect professionally at all times.
- Addressing customer concerns courteously and professionally, and then forwarding concerns and questions onto management when necessary.
Communication
- Immediately report missed stops, route delays, customer concerns, vehicle issues, accidents, or service interruptions.
- Maintain communication with supervisors throughout the workday as required.
Vehicle Responsibility
- Operating company vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance to company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle.
- Conducting routine vehicle inspections as assigned.
- Reporting vehicle maintenance issues immediately.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to repeatedly enter and exit vehicles throughout the day.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
