Security Officer Unarmed
As a Security Officer Identity Check Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification steps, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.

Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and deliveries, maintain access logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership in accordance with post instructions.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting emergency response activities and established communication protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.

Support vehicle and personnel screening functions, verify authorizations for restricted areas, and document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

Applicants must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
