As California Valley’s premier recycling facility, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier service and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a dedicated Class A, End Dump Driver team.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A End Dump Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of end dump trucks, transporting containers to and from customer locations, construction sites, transfer stations, recycling facilities, and landfills. This position requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service, and a commitment to safety and compliance. This position will be Monday-Friday and weekends and overtime as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A end dump truck in accordance with all DOT, state, and local regulations.
- Deliver and retrieve end dump containers from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
- Ensure containers are properly secured and transported safely.
- Maintain accurate records, driver logs, and electronic documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and facility personnel.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Identify and report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- May be required to operate flatbed and lowboy trailers based on business needs.
- Assist with other transportation-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
- Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Ability to safely operate manual and/or automatic transmission trucks.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous end dump, dump truck, transfer trailer, waste, recycling, or construction hauling experience.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Experience operating in industrial, construction, recycling, or scrap metal environments.
- Previous lowboy hauling experience is preferred.
Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
