Host — Cork Wine Bar & Market
Cork Wine Bar & Market, an award-winning neighborhood wine bar, restaurant, and market in Washington, DC, is looking for a part-time Host to join our team.
The Host is the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a warm, welcoming experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is organized and personable, and can help keep the front of house running smoothly during service.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Be comfortable using restaurant reservation and guest seating systems.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be warm, friendly, professional, and attentive to guests.
- Be able to multitask and stay organized in a busy restaurant environment.
- Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with servers and managers.
- Have an interest in food, wine, and hospitality.
- Be available to work weekends. Weekend availability is required.
