Combining pickleball, events, food & beverage, and interactive family entertainment, Kraken is designed to become a premier community hub for active fun and hospitality.
Over the next six months, Kraken will continue expanding with new attractions and immersive experiences specifically designed for children ages 1–8, creating even more opportunities for families to play, celebrate, and engage together.
About the role:
We are seeking a Director of Pickleball to lead and grow our pickleball program. This role will oversee player development, membership engagement, and event programming, while serving as the face of the pickleball community. The Director will work to build partnerships, cultivate a strong member experience, and position the club as a premier destination for recreational and competitive pickleball.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute a long-term vision for the pickleball program
- Drive membership growth and retention through events and outreach
- Oversee instructional programming, clinics, and player development pathways
- Organize leagues, tournaments, and community engagement activities
- Build partnerships with schools, corporations, and community organizations
- Manage program operations, scheduling, and financial performance
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience in sports programming, recreation management, or event coordination
- Ability to foster community and member engagement
- Entrepreneurial mindset with focus on growth and innovation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Compensation:
- Commission/Bonuses: Quarterly bonus opportunities based on revenue performance (up to $31,250)
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
