All Sport Health and Fitness is the winner of the Best of the Hudson Valley awards for Best Fitness Club, and we’re looking to add dynamic, high-energy Group Fitness Instructors who can deliver unforgettable workouts that keep members coming back for more. Whether you teach strength, cycling, HIIT, Pilates, yoga, or specialty formats, you’ll create an engaging, results-driven class experience that reflects our upscale brand.
Key Responsibilities
Group Exercise instructors are motivators! They help us through the workouts we sometimes don’t want to do, and they pick us up with their energy. Here’s a few things we’re looking for:

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to classes you’re teaching to be available to welcome members to their workout and answer any questions they may have.

Be a great ambassador for Group Exercise

Provide adequate warm-up and cool-downs.

Provide individualized instruction but still be able to lead the group through the workout.

Vary the exercise routines while complying with established formats and standards.

Ability to cooperate and work well with other staff members.
Qualifications

Certified Instructor (ACE, AFAA) or equivalent

If Les Mills, current on all Les Mills certificates and “auto-ship” with formats applying for

1-year minimum teaching experience preferred

CPR/First Aid Certification

Professional manner and appearance

Must have a high degree of energy, be physically fit, and have the endurance to complete the workout.

Regularly communicates with members and management about interests, needs, and concerns.
Physical Requirements

Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach throughout the workday.

Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.

Ability to work independently and respond quickly to operational needs throughout the department.
