American Traveler is hiring a Postpartum/Mother Baby RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent Mother Baby experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Work in the Family Care Unit/Maternity department of a hospital setting
-
10-bed unit staffed with mom baby RNs and a transition RN on each shift
-
Patient ratio of 3-4 mother-baby couplets per nurse
-
Uses CPN charting, infant warmers, bassinets, NELCOR pulse oximetry for CCHD screening, Bili lights, and IV pumps
-
EMR system used is Meditech & CPN
-
Night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
-
13-week assignment length
-
Active RN license (CO state or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current BLS certification
-
Minimum 1 year of current Mother Baby RN experience required
-
Transition experience preferred but not required
-
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Provide postpartum and newborn care including circumcision assistance, staple removal, and newborn testing

Deliver patient-centered care with a personal connection to patients and families

Care for a diverse patient population
