Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as toileting, vitals, weights and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and other required information.
- Support DON, RN, Administrator and Activity Director with tasks in the Community.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments through compassionate engagement and tailored routines
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts
- Support patients in behavioral health or psychiatric settings by applying de-escalation techniques and providing emotional support
Experience
- Prior experience working in Adult Medical Day Center is highly valued
- Happy, outgoing personality is required.
- Experience caring for individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs enhances your ability to provide holistic support
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles including dementia and Alzheimer's care improves quality of life for senior clients communities showcases your adaptability and compassion for diverse population
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
