Position Details
The Liquor Store Clerk position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling cash transactions, and maintaining inventory levels in the store.
Reports to: Liquor Store Manager
Supervisory Duties: None
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part Time
Grade: 2
Union Status: Non-Union
Job Duties and Essential Functions
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greet customers, answer their questions, and assist them in finding products.
- Stock shelves and coolers.
- Count cash registers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of liquor store.
- Ensure liquor store is properly secured and closed at the end of the day.
- Comply with all local and state laws regarding the sale of alcohol.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Licenses
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol in the state of Minnesota.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

This job requires working indoors, often in a busy and fast-paced environment. Shifts can include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Limited lifting of 80lbs may be required.
