Job Summary
We are a new and growing pizza restaurant looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Front of House Team Member to join our team. This role is essential in creating a great customer experience by welcoming guests, taking orders, handling takeout, and supporting daily restaurant operations.
Because we are a small, fast-paced restaurant, we are looking for someone who is flexible, team-oriented, and willing to help wherever needed—both in the dining area and with light restaurant support tasks.
Responsibilities
.Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
.Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately.
.Enter orders into the POS (cash register) system.Serve food and beverages to customers.
.Ensure guests have a positive dining experience by checking on tables when needed.
.Pack and prepare takeout orders carefully and accurately.
.Handle cash, credit card, and other payments.
.Keep the dining area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
.Clear and clean tables after guests leave.
.Restock napkins, cups, condiments, and other front-of-house supplies.
.Maintain cleanliness of the counter, dining room, and restrooms.
.Assist with light food preparation or simple kitchen tasks during busy periods.
.Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
.Help support opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
.Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent service.
Qualifications
.Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required.
.Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
.Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
.Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
.Willingness to help teammates and support different areas of the restaurant.
.Basic math skills for handling payments and cash.
.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
