Touchstone Electric is a family-owned residential electrical company serving homeowners throughout the Charlotte area. We specialize in service work, electrical upgrades, panel replacements, EV chargers, generators, lighting, and remodel projects.
We are looking for a Residential Electrical Installer who can confidently complete installations, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and continue developing their skills within the electrical trade.
We are looking for someone who already has residential electrical experience and takes pride in doing things the right way. The ideal candidate can contribute immediately in the field, complete installations with limited supervision, and is looking to continue growing their skills and knowledge within the electrical trade.
This position is ideal for a Wireman who has a solid foundation in residential electrical work and is ready to take the next step in their career while continuing to learn from experienced electricians.
What Success Looks Like
- Completing residential electrical installations safely and efficiently
- Producing $1,500–$2,000+ in completed work per day
- Providing an exceptional customer experience in every home
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Communicating clearly with homeowners and team members
- Taking ownership of assigned work from start to finish
Typical Work Includes
- Panel replacements and upgrades
- EV charger installations
- Whole-home surge protection
- Lighting installations and upgrades
- Dedicated circuits
- Generator installations
- Service upgrades
- Residential troubleshooting and repairs
- Remodel and renovation electrical work
What We're Looking For
- Residential electrical installation experience required
- Ability to complete assigned installations with limited supervision and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead a helper when assigned
- Clean and professional appearance
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
