We are seeking a skilled Custom Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of cabinetry and millwork. Proficient with hand tools, power tools and reading/understanding shop drawings/blueprints.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints for cabinet design, Cabnetware and Cabinet Vision.
- Process wood parts for assembly by measuring, cutting, sanding and shaping according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools for the assembly of cabinets and fixtures.
- Install components in wood cabinets according to instructions.
- Install hardware on cabinets as instructed.
- Collaborate with team members for successful quality completion of projects.
- Ensure quality craftsmanship in all cabinet making tasks.
- Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years of cabinetry and woodworking experience required.
- Proficiency in all phases of cabinetry and millwork.
- Proficient with power tools (ie: table saws, drill press, etc.), setup and maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety protocols.
- Provide references of work experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand all day.
- Ability to infrequently lift up to 80 pounds, bend, twist, squat, kneel and lift (both lateral and overhead)
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced
- Effectively provide and receive communication
