Lead Diesel Technician
Richfield, WI
Pay Rate: $29-$38 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift Monday- Friday
Primary Duties
- Responsible for troubleshooting repairs and addressing issues, problems and discrepancies
- Perform diesel repairs and maintenance, complete shop projects and assignments as required or requested by management.
- Manage the day to day activity of the shop including inventory, supervision of employees and workload assignments.
- Complete required data entry, reporting and paperwork requirements.
- Assist and communicate with the Terminal Manager and Regional Maintenance Director to ensure safety, efficiency and to promote the growth and success of the operation.
- Lead and implement operational practices and policies to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer expectations and company standards
- Promote clean and safe working conditions
Communicate and collaborate with vendors, other company terminals, departments and co-workers.
Experience & Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer and typing skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid driver's license
- Heavy duty-diesel mechanic experience
- Motivated to work independently and complete assignments
