Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of daiquiris, cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend beverage options to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices in accordance with health regulations
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Assist with beverage recipe development and suggest new drink ideas to keep our menu fresh and exciting
- Ensure responsible serving by monitoring alcohol consumption and adhering to legal alcohol service guidelines
- Support bar management with inventory control, stock replenishment, and ordering supplies as needed
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by creating a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, bar management, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Experience with beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, brewing or craft beer familiarity is desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in catering or retail math is advantageous but not required
