Duties
- Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to guests’ tables, maintaining high standards of presentation and temperature
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting for new guests to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating and garnishing
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies using safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by cleaning tables, chairs, and surrounding spaces regularly
- Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing accuracy
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
