Part-Time Infusion Registered Nurse
Location: Boise, IDPosition: Part-Time (Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time)
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our growing specialty medical practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients while also taking ownership of the administrative processes that make infusion therapy successful.
This is a unique role that combines direct patient care with coordination, insurance navigation, and program management. As our infusion services continue to grow, this position has the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Administer physician-ordered infusion therapies safely and efficiently.
- Monitor patients during and after infusions, assessing for adverse reactions and changes in condition.
- Educate patients on medications, treatment expectations, and symptom management.
- Document all treatments accurately and maintain compliance with clinical protocols.
- Collaborate closely with providers regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
Infusion Program Coordination
- Obtain insurance prior authorizations and work through appeals when needed.
- Track authorizations, reimbursements, and payments to ensure treatments remain financially viable.
- Communicate regularly with insurance companies regarding benefits and coverage.
- Coordinate treatment scheduling and maintain ongoing communication with patients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical drug representatives and patient support programs.
- Coordinate medication procurement and patient assistance resources when applicable.
- Order infusion medications and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Monitor medication storage, expiration dates, and supply usage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous infusion, oncology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, or specialty infusion experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance authorization and reimbursement processes is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with physicians and administrative staff.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional patient care and customer service skills.

Pay: $37.00 - $47.00 per hour
