Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services to individuals in need. In this energetic role, you will operate a Toyota Sienna with a rear access WC ramp transport clients to medical appointments, home on hospice, rehab, and other medically, necessary appointments. Your positive attitude and excellent driving skills will ensure passengers experience comfort and safety every time they ride with us. Duties
- Safely operate Vans in compliance with all state transportation regulations.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, alighting, and luggage handling.
- Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs for clients needing non-emergency medical or community transportation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal vehicle safety and performance.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and securement of mobility aids or medical equipment.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- Proven shuttle driving or delivery driver experience demonstrating safe driving practices across various vehicle types.
- Must hold valid driver’s licenses appropriate for the vehicle fleet used.
- Experience with CNA or EMT great but not required, will need to do CPR or show that you are certified.
- Will need to complete 6 hour defensive driving online course before being able to drive. Will be reimbursed for the cost of the class.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients and team members.
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations governing commercial and passenger vehicle operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when assisting passengers or managing equipment.
- Prior experience in customer service roles that require professionalism, patience, and empathy is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
