What You’ll Do
- Provide a welcoming, memorable dining experience that reflects the heart of Nightingale
- Greet guests warmly at the host stand and at their tables
- Take and enter accurate orders using SpotOn POS, including beverages, food, and modifications
- Guide guests through the menu, confidently speaking to ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and pairing suggestions
- Maintain a polished, well-managed section with a focus on guest comfort and detail
- Run food and drinks, ensure timely service, and anticipate guest needs
- Handle all payments efficiently and accurately
- Support the team by restocking, polishing, resetting, boxing to-go items, and maintaining cleanliness
- Embrace a “full hands” approach during all trips to and from the kitchen
- Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and support staff to deliver seamless, elevated service
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 21+
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant preferred (hospitality-driven quick learners encouraged to apply)
- A willingness to listen to leadership and take direction with professionalism is essential
- Confidence using POS systems (SpotOn experience a plus)
- A polished upbeat and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills and genuine warmth in guest interactions
- Team first mentality with a commitment to creating a supportive respectful work environment
- The ability to multitask prioritize and stay cool under pressure
- Curiosity adaptability and a desire to grow with us
