7D Van Driver – Daycare Transportation
Location: Dorchester, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, morning and afternoon shifts
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible hours
Pay: Competitive pay ($160.00 per day)
A local daycare transportation program in Dorchester is seeking a reliable and safety-focused 7D Van Driver to transport children to and from daycare locations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, friendly, and enjoys working with children. This role is a great fit for someone who is looking for consistent weekday hours in a family-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport children to and from daycare locations in Dorchester and surrounding Boston areas
- Ensure children are safely seated and supervised during transportation
- Follow assigned routes and schedules in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional van environment
- Communicate clearly with daycare staff, parents, and supervisors as needed
- Follow all transportation safety rules, daycare policies, and 7D driver requirements
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts 7D Driver’s Certificate
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a CORI/background check
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working with young children
- Strong communication skills
- Must be available Monday through Friday for morning and afternoon transportation shifts
